Today we are going to be learning how to code. Start by watching the video below. Notice who the people are that are speaking throughout the video.
I understand that some of you have much more experience than others when it comes to coding. Later we will branch out based on skill level and interest. For this assignment though, you will all be completing the same activity.
When you click the link below, you will be taken step by step through the "Hour of Code" process using the "Dance Party" program. Work through each level. When you have finished, it will allow you to create your own scene. Once you have finished your original scene, you will copy the link and submit it on the Google doc for your grade. These two videos will help you with saving your link if you need them. You will not have to use Ctrl C, you will just have to click the words "Copy Code."
If you stop part way through, please make a note of what level you are on so you know where to begin when you return.
What you submit to me should be YOUR ORIGINAL WORK! Please do not just submit what they have started for you or you will not receive points. Make it fun with your own choice of characters, music, background, etc. There should be changes in characters, dance moves, backgrounds, etc.
